How much power does an LED wall use?

Published maximum draw in our datasheet-verified database runs from about 170 W/m² for fine-pitch install COB panels to 1,200 W/m² for high-brightness rental and outdoor tiles; common rental panels sit around 500–800 W/m². Multiply by wall area for maximum draw, and expect typical content to draw roughly a third of that.

Why size circuits on maximum instead of typical draw?

Content is unpredictable — one white flash frame, one test pattern, one source failing to a white screen — and the distribution has to survive all of it without opening a breaker mid-show. Typical draw answers a different question: what to tell the venue or which generator to order.

How many LED panels fit on one 16 A circuit?

A 16 A / 230 V circuit at an 80% derate carries 2,944 usable watts. Divide by the panel's maximum per-cabinet draw: eighteen 160 W cabinets, nine 320 W cabinets. Always the datasheet maximum, never the typical figure.
