The free LED wall calculator that goes past pixels and power: describe the wall once and RigPlan derives the full pack list — panels and spares, rigging hardware from your own bumper stock, circuits and distro, data runs and processor fit, cases and truck space — so nothing gets remembered at midnight or forgotten at load-in.
Job
Walls
Planning several walls on one job — main + IMAG + DJ riser, shared spares and one truck sum — is a Solo feature.
Datasheet PDF parsing — upload a sheet, get the form pre-filled — is a Solo feature. Manufacturers can always parse and submit sheets free on the vendors page.

Every quantity above is derived from the rules below — written with working AV techs and corrected as they red-pen them. Panel and processor specs are placeholders until verified against manufacturer data.
Multiply the panel count by the pixels per cabinet: a 12 × 6 wall of 176 × 176 pixel cabinets is 2,112 × 1,056 pixels. From physical size instead, divide width and height in millimetres by the pixel pitch — a 6 m wide wall at 2.9 mm pitch is about 2,069 pixels wide.
Multiply panel count by the maximum (full white) draw for circuit sizing, and apply an 80% derate to the circuit rating. A 16 A/230 V circuit carries 2,944 usable watts, so sixteen 180 W panels. Typical content draws roughly a third of maximum — use that figure for generator sizing, not for circuits.
A 1G port carries roughly 650,000 pixels at 60 Hz and 8-bit (NovaStar’s official rating; Brompton rates 525,000). Divide by the pixels per cabinet and load to about 80% for headroom. Higher refresh rates and deeper bit depths reduce the figure proportionally.
Panels and spares, receiving cards and PSUs, bumpers and rigging hardware, hoists, power distros, feeders and jumpers, data home runs and panel jumpers, processing, dollies, cable trunks and truck space. RigPlan derives every quantity from the wall specification and the stock you own.
