System sheet

One page per screen: size and resolution, power and heat, weight and structure, the signal path and the processor. The figures are the planner’s; the panel figures are the maker’s.

Open your own job from the planner with the System sheet button beside Print, a Solo feature. The example below is a head office lobby and boardroom, two wall-mounted screens on house circuits with looped data; open it in the planner to change the panels or the sizes.

Panel figures come from the maker’s datasheet; a figure the sheet leaves out reads "not published".

Circuits are sized on maximum draw at 80% derate. Typical draw is the figure for the supply contract and the HVAC; maximum is the worst case, full white.

Viewing distances follow the industry convention of one metre per millimetre of pitch, comfortable at two to three times that.

Planning aid. The electrical supply and the structure must be verified by a competent electrician and engineer before installation.
